Murco Gas Detector

The MGD is ideal for people who want a straight-forward rugged gas detection solution. This stand-alone set-point alarm system detects a wide range of gases.

Features :
  • a central controller with up to 6 remote sensors
  • visual, audible alarms and alarm level relays
  • 1 or 2 alarm levels - a relay at each alarm level
  • constant power and system fault monitoring
  • a wide range of versions to suit diverse industry applications
  • accurate stable long life sensors
  • reliable-real time continuous monitoring, no blocked filters, tubes sample transport delays or technical maintenance problems as experienced by air sampling/aspirated systems


Typical applications include:
Refrigerant gases including ammonia, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, halocarbons -HFCs, HCFCs, CFCs
Combustible gases such as methane, LPG, propane, butane and hydrogen
Toxic gases - carbon dioxide and ammonia in refrigeration and carbon monoxide in underground carparks
Volatile Organic Compounds - acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, ethanol, toluene, trichloroethylene

Annual gas detector checks are now compulsory in some countries due to ne EN378 and F Gas regulation for halocarbons.
